guzziguy Posted November 9, 2009 Report Share Posted November 9, 2009 Would the JH13 work with the Smyth Realiser? I don't see why they wouldn't work. Of course, you'd have to wear some kind of head set/band to hold the direction indicator (i.e. the sensor that tells the Realiser which way your head is turned). And the head-tracking is definitely optional. I don't use it at all. I don't tend to move my head when I watch stuff. I still need to measure and try a 2-channel room in my main headphone system to see how it sounds. I just use the Realiser for 5.1 currently. I was worried that since universals bother me, I might not enjoy the JH13's enough. That's pretty much answered as I've been wearing the CT6 for about 6 hours now with no problems. I've emailed JH, we'll see what they say. The noise isolation isn't as good as my etys, but the sound is out of this world. The bass is absolutely fantastic.
