Sennheiser to unveil new corporate design at CES 2010

Sennheiser, one of the world’s leading producers of microphones, headphones and wireless transmission systems has evolved its corporate design that is to be unveiled at this year's CES show.

At the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) the audio specialist will be introducing itself for the first time with a new design.

“The new corporate design brings our profile into focus and is an important step within the framework of the brand strategy. Throughout this process it was important for us to ensureSennheiser ’s three brand values – premium quality, passion and progression – are reflected even more clearly and further enhance the brand,” says Susanne Seidel, President Global Marketing at Sennheiser.

The Hamburg Design Agency Syndicate was responsible for both creative and consultancy work on the project. The reworked corporate design will gradually be implemented across all of Sennheiser’s communication collateral. The Sennheiser in-store retail display programme will be unveiled to a larger international public using numerous modules, including interactive displays, at the CES 2010.

During the Consumer Electronics Show which runs from the 7th to the 10th of January 2010, Sennheiser can be found in the South Hall, Stand No. 21240 of Las Vegas’ exhibition centre.

not so shocking that I am the only one that prefers the HD800 to the HE90 (ducks, but thinks it is too soft in presentation)

No, I'm with you John, the euphony tends to stick to your taint and makes you squirm after a while. The HD800 will scrape that clean off.

I do think the HD800 has a bit of dry glare or sumpin', but balancing them and recabling does wonders to deliver just plain clean sound.

Incorrect.

Reminds me of the joke, right? It'ain't this, and it'ain't that. Joke still works, if you point.

Indeed, I sit corrected. I've updated my knowledge in this matter by reference to the Urban dictionary, which offers some rather entertaining entries from John Q. Public's very best.

I'm almost afraid to look.

Don't let morbid curiosity get the best of you! It's a train wreck you don't need to see!

Ok, so 5 (subpart 2), 11, and 55 (the levee thing) were my favorites, although it's not like I read all 98 of them. :palm:

Tyll! How you doin? You at CES or know what they are announcing?

Nah. I'm not going to CES and have no idea what they're announcing.

I tell you what though, they've been putting out some great shit lately (PX100-II, CX 300-II, the new wireless stuff), I'd guess it's the logo thing, but if there's product coming along too, I bet it's pretty damn good.

Some new wireless models, incl. a portable, are one release:

From Sennheiser intros RS wireless headphones range - Pocket-lint:

"Sennheiser is looking to associate the word quality with wireless audio today at CES with the launch of the RS range of on-ear headphones.

Each of three models features the company's KLEER technology which transmits uncompressed audio at 2.37MB/s peak bit rate with CD quality and without any loss or interference from other signals in the 2.4GHz band. That's the theory anyway, and all of this is done at minimal power consumption of the NiMH AA rechargeable batteries in the transmitters.

The most expensive of the trio are the Sennheiser RS 180 open cup phones designed for home cinema use. They come in at
