Is there an easy way to open up the pads and make copies of the foams before they wear down? Also are there any changes in sound between the Mk1 and Mk2 pads? spritzer Posted March 23, 2010 Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 The Omega pads are easy to open, the leather is just rolled over the foam. See here. And at the price that I got Vincent's Mk1 pads, I'm not at all complaining. Even though I did not spend very long with O2 Mk1's at any given time, I did not seem to find sweat build-up a problem but extended listening may change that. deepak Posted March 24, 2010 Report Share Posted March 24, 2010 (edited) The foam does compress rather quickly in the mk1 pads. I put a new pair on mine shortly after buying the headphones and the pads needed to be replaced in slightly over a year.
