KG noted in a previous thread that there's something like $600 in transformers alone, nevermind the rest of the stuff in there. The only negative I see is that I don't like 6DJ8's. Drew hasn't added $200 in casework to boost the price by $1000I don't want it to look like the B52 or anything like that but if you're going to take the time to have a front panel made you could easily make it more appealing than that, hell even a different font might make all the difference. At some point, and I don't know where it is, part of an audio purchase becomes about the whole package and not just what's on the inside. Wouldn't you agree?
