emelius Posted March 26, 2011 Report Share Posted March 26, 2011 (edited) back home...drinkin' Boulevard Smokestack Series Imperial Stout...mine's #4886, though:)... this is like a sweet, Whiskey-fied Baltic...i think i'll snag 'nother one for aging... oh, & it should be noted that that is an old label...the beer is now 11% ABV...it's 54% ale & 46% ale aged in Whiskey barrels...& i don't know how many bottles are out there...this is the 2011... Next, and last is: Oriental Cocktail (Savoy) 1/2 Rye Whisky. 1/4 Italian Vermouth. 1/4 White Curacao. The Juice of 1/2 Lime. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass. Put to good use the new 0.75 oz jigger that arrived today Also, one for the experts. What is the best sub for Dubonnet. Dolin Rouge, Carpano, or Punt e Mes? I really liked the Black Metal (Imperial Stout).... lots of smokey and chocolately goodness! Probably my second favorite Texas beer after St. Arnold Divine Reserve #10.
