I am a big Spock's Beard fan from back in the day when it was fronted by Neal. I didn't follow him into his solo work (well I got the first album). It went too Christian for me. I had not heard of the Neal Mores Band project. I will add it to my list. thx

The last Transatlantic album is probably a better starting point.  I enjoyed this album a lot, but I'm not the biggest NMB fan.  It's definitely got some great ensemble playing.

And I totally agree with you on the Christian thing, but I have a friend who's really into them, so I tolerate it.  And it's like extreme metal like early Opeth -- I hate harsh vocals.  HATE.  But the music is so good, that I put up with it.

I listened to those two yesterday. I was expecting more of the Variations. The second disc in the Mingus set is brutal.

Considering to listening to this one

No idea who this girl is, I am not very fond of previous Reznor or Ross output despite the good accolades, yet still curious.

Chvrches - Screen Violence

Very solid 4th album from a band that at this point knows who they are and confidently embraces it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing them live assuming the tour comes through San Francisco in December and isn't derailed by COVID.

Yesterday I listened to

Super db - Ecoute Ca

I found this album due to a recommendation in the weekend newspaper. They said it's some mix of Earth, Wind & Fire, Supertramp, Steely Dan and other late 70's bands. What could go wrong? It's available at most streaming platforms

Now just finished

ZZ Top - Eliminator

It's a pity Odesli isn't including links to Qobuz as well
