What are you listening to Part the Third

Recommended Posts

I'm on a Pineapple Thief binge, after receiving their live CD/DVD, Where We Stood and watching it 2ce in a row this weekend.  They didn't have enough of the space rock from their back catalog (like the epic "Remember Us"), so I'm taking care of it myself.  "Wednesday 23rd" is particularly beautiful little slice of music.  Both tracks can be found here:

Did they ever make it across the pond?

Unholy carp, I have a vague memory of hearing this on WHFS way back when, I love Britpop.  Instant fan.

Stretch and Dusty, 99+% sure I actually saw The Railway Children live back in the day, that they did make it to the US.  They opened up for another band, but for the life of me I don't remember who that was....just that I saw them, and have a vague memory of liking them.

I have been a little slow in getting the new table up and running, but I bought this AMG V12 Viella off Audiogon last month.

Now playing:

Reverberation Radio – meticulously curated classic and rare tracks (free podcast station on iTunes – some of the recordings are a bit lo-fi and/or mono because of their age, but the music is brilliant): http://reverberationradio.com/
