k.d. lang - Hymns of the 49th Parallel

I bought kd lang and the reclines 'Angel with a Lariat' in 1987, when it came out. I then went back and bought the first album, and have bought every album since. To say I'm a fan would be a giant understatement. Hymns of the 49th parallel is one of my favorites to listen to. I discovered Chris Isaak two years earlier, and I buy every album he releases as well. Still two of my best discoveries.

After DakhaBrakha's rebroadcast SFJAZZ concert last night, hunting for more. Self-described ethnochaos.

Chillin' with Captain Beefheart

FYI for fans of this album:

Me, listening to study music while studying (it's kind of slapdash, intended to be listened to on random, as there's some repetition which I haven't bothered separating out:

Morning Disco Covers? Okay

Dee Gees / Hail Satin - Foo Fighters / Live

Dee Gees / Hail Satin - Foo Fighters / Live at Studio 606
Foo Fighters
2021

They did okay - pretty much straight covers of the Bee Gees tunes:

Example - just in case you want to listen:

The Second half of the Album is live tracks of the Foo recorded at 606 - I like these better:
