My beloved KGSSHV died, one channel went up in smoke. Tried to fix it but I cannot find the fault. Would you be willing to help troubleshoot? I’ll gladly pay for any help, want to get my amp back to work.

Just got a 009s to complement my SR007 MK1. Since my KGSSHV just went up in smoke (can’t find its fault), I’m currently amp-less with the exception of my SRD7 Pro hooked up to Hypex Ncore mono blocks.

What is an inexpensive amp to run the 009s with good quality? Are the Stax offerings or older energizers any good for the 009s? I usually don’t listen very loud.

Ah ok, so the servo circuit is usually enabled (but generally optional) after adjusting balance/offset close to 0V? The servo would then automatically take care of those values?

I just finished my KGSSHV and love the sound! I'm not an electrical engineer so can anyone shed some light (or point me to some further reading) what the servo jumper is for? When do I need to use it? I'm powering my SR-007 MK1 with the KGSSHV.

How is the STAX SR-207 worse than the larger SR-507 (owned that before)? How large is the difference to the TOTL models? I'm currently on a budget and want to get as much electrostatic "bang for the buck".
