Amb alpha24
Or you can use simple THS4131+LM6171 if your source can work with something like 2-10 kOhm load. -
Different kinds of LEDs have different forward voltage requirements. Non-bright LEDs tend to require less voltage than bright LEDs, since bright LEDs need more power to work. Typical VLED values are 1.7V for non-high-brightness red, 1.9V for high-brightness high-efficiency low-current red, 2V for orange and yellow, 2.1V for green, and 3.4 to 3.6V for bright white and most blue types.

Those are the original circuit, not balanced differential, and use hard to find jfet inputs.
I'm taking my own here:

Matching of 4 quads:
Gate capacitance of N-type:
Gate capacitance of P-type:
They are similar to 170/74 pair, but a little more noisy, 1/2 in gate capacitance, 2/3 in transconductance and P-type are rated up to 40 V.

what reasons do you guys think that may course these distortion? How do we tweak it to make it lower distorted in those area?
Ground loop, imho.
Or badly designed feedback.
Or bad IPS/VAS supply.
Or some kind of combination.

Small brother - balanced Dynalo can be routed like this:

Hi, everybody!
I'm novice here and signup being impressed mister Kevin Gilmore designs.
First of all - thanks to him for making designs opened!
Now i'm thinking about building Dynahi at a different manner than author.
The main concept is to put overall amp in a comparatively small case such 3209:
So, PCBs must be rerouted.
Here i want to offer another building idea, best to understand by photo and renders (for understanding dimensions - caps are 18 mm diameter and 35 mm height):
There are several benefits in such layout.
1. Input stage (further - IPS) and voltage amplification stage (further - VAS) are separated from output stage (further - OPS).
1.1 So we can easily swap IPS/VAS board based on BJT/JFET, balanced SuSy or single-ended, SMD or throughole without need to demounting OPS from heatsink.
1.2 Each of the board are comparatively small and can be done with better shielding/decoupling, and even on a 4-layer PCB if needed at a low price.
1.3 Further improvement via changing small IPS/VAS board at a reasonable price.
I suppose, that OPS board can be splitted to two boards under 100x100 mm and prototyped here at a very reasonable price:

This thread will contain all PCB gerbers/projects or custom numbers at PCB-providers.
Any opinions/suggestions?
