December 7, 200718 yr Okay, not really worthy of a thread, but that's never stopped me before. I found this rather curious. Anyone bored enough to try? http://www.householdhacker.com/?p=7
December 25, 200718 yr nice.....I'm gonna go into my kitchen and do it. WOnder how much battery life it gives you?
December 25, 200718 yr Flat out impossible. To produce a current, you need dissimilar metals in an electrolyte. A USB jack is all one metal, there will be no electron flow, thus no current. Even if there were dissimilar metals in the jack, there isn't anywhere close to enough surface area to create any significant current. In other words, it's a fake.
