Wow, for one reason or another I never ripped this album to my ipod .. so I haven't listened to it for at least 5-6 years... just popped it in and am grooving to it. I remember when I bought it when it first came out and was at a friend's house. I put it in the cd player to just "preview it" before we went out and was immediately floored enough to just lay on his apartment floor and listen to the whole thing through. They all left without me, but I didn't care, I was immersed in the music.

yup yup. the newer release, "three from the vault", is another great one, great pigpen show. has an awesome "hurts me too", which is one of my favorite pigpen tunes.

"one from the vault" is still my favorite of the series though. i just can't get enough of that
