I don't have experience with that DAC, but you might also want to look at the ezDAC:

It's a similar DAC with good documentation on that site and in a recent Audio Xpress article (downloadable for free at http://www.audioxpress.com/magsdirx/ax/addenda/media/negro3051.pdf)

I emailed the designer, and he says he expects to have more PCBs available in December or January.
