Are there any secure ebook formats that are readable in linux ?

I was wanting to try and read "Dark Angel: Before the Dawn"

which appears to be available only in secure formats Mobipocket/Microsoft Reader/Adobe ebook/eReader are any of these accesible from within linux ?

I'm using Opensuse 11.2
