  1. does the ae-2 have enough juice to drive them? they advertise that they can drive anything from a cheap 16 ohm pair all the way up to the highest end grado's
  2. okay thanks guys. i'm a huge newb so, what is a IEM?
  3. yes. there is a tape out that is available. its an integrated pre amp. so i guess my question is that if I hook this portable amp up to tape 2 of my pre amp and then want to use it to listen to my turntable will it work since the pre amp has to be on 'phono' in order to listen to the turntable.
  4. now if hook it up to my amp at home using the rca's in the back I can use it on tape 1 or 2. so if i want to listen to my turntable, how does that work? the amp has to be switched to phono in order to listen to the turntable.
  5. i'm not a douche. i apologize if i came off that way. i took his answer the wrong way. sorry about that, and I do appreciate any help.
  6. you gave a one sentence answer that came off as if you were talking down to me because my expertise is obviously at a begginer level. sorry but I get snotty answers ALL THE TIME from people in these types of forums or even at stores.
  7. so unless I upgrade my headphones that rega is not necessary. If I want to use my earbuds exclusively what would be a good solution?
  8. how is that question relevant? I want an amp because my pre-amp doesnt have a headphone jack
  9. I am in the market for a headphone amp in the $300 price range. I own a pair of shure e4c's. I believe they are 29ohm earbuds. I do not plan on buying an upgrade headphone anytime soon. Anyone have any advice? Will these earbuds be a good fit with this amp?
