OK, this is getting a bit ridiculous. I've been told that I can expect to hear a real benefit from going with a good amp/dac. However, the more I listen to these things straight out of my Zune 120, the more I think that there's no way it can get any better and that you're all a bunch of liars. LIARS I SAY!

I paid $20 too. Check if there is an audiologist affiliated with a local hospital. You might find then to be cheaper.

Is there a significant improvement with the Pico? I'm considering one, but can't really imagine how much better it can get. They already sound really great right out of my Zune.

I'm in the exact same boat. My right earpiece feels slightly small and I can't get the same seal as I can with the left one, but they still sound perfect. They just feel a little bit off. They also got my cable colour wrong and printed my full name on my case, which is not what I asked for. Having said that, these are all things I can live with, but really shouldn't have to. I've emailed Jerry twice in the last week about my fit issue, but have had no response.

Straight out of my Zune 120 they are definitely better than my modded, recabled D2000 through my WA6. What that means in comparison to the HD800 I have no idea as I've never heard them. For me, just the fact that I can get this level of sound quality without having to wear something on my head, is a real bonus. I've definitely heard better though from full size setups. Specifically, Ray's R10 through his B-52. Other than that though, I'm not sure. But I think that's still saying a lot.

About 12 hours including a 5 hour flight till I get mine. Yeah, the wait is killing me.

Hmmm. I asked for translucent black too, and while I do like how your's turned out, I'm hoping mine are a bit darker than that. I see what you mean about the artwork too. Looks like the logo on the left monitor is slightly unfinished? No artwork on mine, but I did opt to get a silver Charm embedded. I hope it terms out ok.
