    Canjam 2010.

Haven't been to CanJam since it was Head Fest in San Jose, and I've never been to Chicago so I'm definitely going to do my best to make it to this one.
  2. Yeah, not quite sure what his motives are. And he`s not just annoying in this thread either. It`s virtually every thread he`s in.
  3. I think they look fantastic Al. I was very close to going with translucent red and now wish I had after seeing yours. Doesn't really matter much though as they are rarely out of my ears!
  4. Yeah, I bought a 1010 micro Case and use that to store them, but think Ed's case will be ideal when you're just out and about. The micro is still too large to carry around in your pocket.
  5. Hey Ed, Any updates on that beautiful case you've been working on? Thanks, Rob
  6. Oooh, I'm attending a Tommy Emmanuel concert myself right now.
  7. Well, the right monitor feels just a bit small. I may try just applying some clear acrylic nail polish to beef it up a little. I really, really don't want to send them back.
  8. That's why I haven't sent mine back. Not sure I want to be without them. I'll deal with the slight fit issue as it has no effect on SQ.
  9. Ed, can you share any of the other renders of the case that you have?
  10. Looks really great Ed. Will there be a spot for adding a name as there is on the current case?
  11. That's it. Just have to use the pen only when I'm listening, l guess.
  12. Yes, there is carpet in the basement and hardwood on the main floor. I don't think it is a static electricity issue. The tablet has a special touchscreen for multi-touch. I think that's the issue.
  13. ok finally figured out a correlation. My PC is a touchscreen tablet and whenever I touch the screen with my finger, l get static. No static when I use the pen though. It's very strange though that this doesn't happen in the basement.
  14. No. Residential suburbia. Sigh.
  15. Damn! It seems that the static problem exists only on the main and second floors of my home. But when I'm in my basement as I was this morning, no static?
  16. Not sure what, if anything, I did, but the Pico Gods have smiled upon me this morning and are providing me with static free listening bliss!!! Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions.
  17. Well, now I'm thinking you might be right. While it didn't appear that the static always coincided with the latency drops, my desktop shows absolutely no latency issues, while the latency on my laptop is quite frequent. I've tried disabling the drivers on anything that might cause the problem, but haven't found the answer yet. Any suggestions?
  18. So frustrating since this thing sounds so freakin awesome.
  19. Not yet, will give that a shot next. Doesn't appear to be a correlation.
  20. Yeah, it seemed fine on my desktop.
  21. Good suggestion, will give it a shot. ... Nope, still there.
  22. Ok, so you weren't joking! Definitely a significant improvement I've noticed after a brief listen. Unfortunately, I'm having a problem that I think is with my laptop. It's causing intermittent static. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, different USB cable and each port with no improvement. Any suggestions?
