Which people are you talking about, and do they know what they're talking about?
For example project86 from headfi. He is very fine fellow.
I felt something similar although with UM3X that these was oe of the the best audio purchase I've ever made so if Livewires Trips are really similar sounding to Westone house sound they have to be rock for only $350, technology and drivers are sure similar to ES3X.
JH13 are great as I said. I have days when I love them and have days when less, so maybe I have a little fit issue who know. I listen mainly at home and I feel customs is not the best for home listening for me, you have to just sit without move and this is not comfortable for a longer listening. I finded JH13 to be much better than HD800 so basicaly JH13 price $1200 is ok but..
I have zero interest in upgradingI don't believe you I have interest about LCD-2, boomana I guess you too

kraken - If I could decide again if yes or no JH13, I would rather buy Livewires Trips now many people say it is very similar sounding to ES3X. JH13 are great of course but I think almost $1200 is really crazy for IEM.

Nice meet in my friends. I brought my JH13 and HF2 to show him and listened on his source. Sound of both headphones was very fine. He had quite good camera so I uploaded another pictures for you.

Try Vincent KHV-1. It is unknown but very good hybrid preamplifier.

Is here anybody who had a chance a little bit compare UM3X with this?
I listen UM3X with middle shure olives-foams and sound is very nice, good balance, more on the warm side, symptoms of organic which I like, tone is sweet and overall it is nice analog sound. Highs, imagine, sparkle could be still better but it is not bad. Open sound is missing me as well but it is only in-ears, no miracle. So relatively I don't have need upgrade on JH audio but these threads descripe 13Pro almost as new God between headphones
so maybe I will try my first customs soon (I hoped and said myself never buy customs please I am totaly lost in this hobby) Another point. Maybe JH13 are big luxus for me becose I will not avail of their potencial. I will use them mainly with mp3 player in bad for relax and occasionally for traveling.

I would like only "GRADO SERIES HF2" as well, it looks strange with "HEAD FI" but more fun with "F1" very unique then it is more than special limited edition.

Hm I had chance to try AD2000 for two days and want them a lot, I thought this hobby is never-ending story but this is my dream headphones for my needs and going to buy one.
MS-Pro is very unique headphones. They are really amazing with a specific music and therefore I am so happy for them but no good for all unfortunatelly maybe my source is problem who know.
Fight between my portable UM3X and ESW9 is pretty hard they are very different but I prefer UM3X they are often very fun.
