  1. Thanks Craig, I subsequently found this in one of your earlier posts. This is a really excellent source, one for the Rolodex.
  2. Many thanks Inu.
  3. Got them (Nikko Electronics). Now my problem is the FQP8N80Cs. Mouser is out and not expecting stock until December(!) and Digi-Key has a minimum 1000 order. Any suggestions folks?
  4. Most kind, luvdunhill! I may take you up on that if I can't locate them nearer to home.
  5. Good job you mentioned this Inu, I was also thinking of 'cheating' and using BLs. Can anyone here point me at a source for the GR version?
  6. Should be identical: 2SC3381, 2SJ109.
  7. I almost got a woody when I saw Kevin's telfon knob but thought it better to keep that to myself. However I see I'm in good company..
  8. Beautifully neat looking work Craig, re-spect. How long did it take you?
  9. Raises hand, bats eyelids, ...
  10. Ready for the chassis as soon as you're ready to ship, Kevin, (although I would appreciate getting the whole 'kit' with Stax jacks and KaNOBB in one shipment for the reasons Craig cites above). Happy to pay any time, just let me know the total. As far as I'm concerned the countless hours you have invested in this project for the benefit of the group puts us in your debt, I really don't see why you should front us working capital too! BTW, thanks for the heads up on EU parts sources Craig, I am currently sitting waiting for several of those Mouser backorders so I might see if I can cancel and reorder. Thanks also for the heads-up on PTS; would be happy to do a group buy on the screws if you're interested as I have no other use for imperial parts so don't really want to order 50 of everything.
  11. Ditto. Craig, Could I ask if you know of a source for the screws in the UK? I am based in Sweden and have not been able to find a source for the imperial sizes locally. I can order the volume items from McMaster Carr but most of them come in packs of 50 and it's expensive (as well as downright silly) to order 50 of everything when for several parts only one or two are required. Some can undoubtedly be swapped for nearest metric size, but ones that have to fit tapped holes will need to be the right size if redrilling/tapping is to be avoided. Alternatively if any of the US-based folks would be prepared to put together a bag of the low-volume parts I'd be very happy to pay for it... (bats eyelashes hopefully) On a related point, Kevin did you say that the default finish would be black? Want to make sure I order external screws in the right colour.
  12. Hi everyone, newbie here. Few things. 1. I went though the BoM x-refing the lists generated by the CAD program with Craig's Excel and the boards fixing a couple of errors in quantities and part numbers and added a sheet which can be imported directly into Mouser to create an order for everyting on the BoM that they stock. Will send to Kevin so he can put it up on the site. 2. I found what looks like a good price ($656) for the RK50 here. 3. Any of the European-based folks have a source that stocks all the screws? Can't find anyone locally with the full selection of imperial sizes.
