  1. A small dram of Rittenhouse 25 to toast the birthday of the best man at my first wedding. That was about 3000 years ago...
  2. Looks excellent Jeff.
  3. We had a hankering for soup tonight, so we winged it with what we had in the house. Made a chicken-chorizo-cabbage soup that turned out very flipping good. Very hearty with small shell pasta and lots of onion, celery and carrot. Good flavor from the chorizo but not really spicy. Just damned good.
  4. Bulleit Rye Old Fashioned. Yum!
  5. Yay! Al got home to his Rittenhouse!
  6. One last dram of Rittenhouse 25, with positive thoughts for Al's friend. Best wishes for a smooth recovery.
  7. Seconded. HC Cask FTW.
  8. Two Brothers Domaine DuPage.
  9. An OXO double jigger and 4 regular sized martini glasses, as I only had the big-ass ones. Probably explains why I get hammered so quickly.
  10. Sending good thoughts for your Dad Marc.
  11. North Shore martini with garlic olives.
  12. New work bag:
  13. G&T Shelly. Stay as refreshed as possible. I will try the rain dance thing again, but I'm more afraid that dancing fat bald guy will drive rain away rather than bring it on....
  14. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but that picture made me REALLY want a plate of SPAM and beans. Cheers Mikey!!
  15. Awesome beer cellar Al. As with Jim, I am hugely jealous. I put up a Harbor Breeze ceiling fan in the music room today. Much needed cooling is now available and it is pretty damn near silent. And now I'm contemplating making a Rittenhouse Sazerac.
  16. Jinxproof six-pack.
  17. Munsterfest. All kinds of new stuff this week.
  18. Correct. Seen them going out the door.
  19. Tap no. Bombers yes.
  20. This years batch of Behemoth. Michael is a very happy boy.
  21. Region Riot, FFF's new malt liquor. Way better than the Schlitz I drank as a teen.
  22. Luksusowa Bloody Mary.
  23. How are you from a standing start Dinny? Hell, you gotta be better than Mark Webber at that. (sorry, inside F1 joke)
  24. Correct. Bernie wanted too much money up front so Indy lost its F1 slot. Right now, the Austin circuit is pretty much graded dirt. It's another Hermann Tilke design, so it has the potential to be crap, but we'll hope for the best. I think the move to November was an effort to avoid the June heat in Texas as well as giving the circuit plenty of time to get finished. With all that said, it is an F1 race in the US, so it will be an awesome thing.
  25. Calling ironbut..... Calling ironbut......
