I donated a knife and $300 gift certificate I bought at toorknives.com to the Green Beret Foundation, to raffle off to raise money for the them. The GBF said up a classy.org page to buy a ticket. I asked Toor to do this since they have 11K followers on IG compared to my 54 and would better be able to promote it. They are a veteran owned small business and make some cool fixed knives. I then contacted GBF and they agreed to set up a donation page and promote it on social media. Some guy on Reddit is in a Korean hotel and is getting speeds like this: Pretty astounding to most Americans (and sufficient to make Canadian users cry in their Molson). Of course, a few institutional users came out of the woodwork and began posting speeds with several hundred megabits in each direction. Crazy to think that the 5th Annual Walk for Belonging is here. I joined the board of directors of Communities of Belonging just before the first walk. They have all been motivating and enriching. Originally called "Second Chance Walk" in 2022, a part of April being Second Chance Month.
