  1. Just picked up an A27 intergrated for $40 in perfect working condition. I was considering having Hamad restore it. Glad I checked here first. Sorry to learn he flaked out on your M-22 restore, glad you got it back.
  2. I just asked how long Hamad had Audiosceptic's amp. I never said he might be scamming me. I was trying to get a feel for his turnaround time. Not sure why I need to defend myself but for what it's worth he does seem a bit flakey. A little over three weeks ago Hamad contacted me, said my amp was finished, boxed, and would ship Thursday or Friday. I contacted him last week thinking he might have decided not to ship due to the Christmas Holliday. He stated FedEx was picking up the amp on Friday. Saturday I sent a note requesting a tracking number, he didn't respond. I sent another note yesterday, he responded my amp would ship today. Maybe this is business as usual for Hamad, but it doesn't seem very professional to tell a customer on two different occasions his amp would ship, then not ship it. Everyone seems very happy with his work, I'm looking forward to giving it a listen. I picked up a C-21 to mate with it.
  3. I heard back from him, feel much better now. "I was in England for a short vacation and have been trying to catch up with work and family. We have your unit open and it is second in the restoration queue now. Once the work begins, I will send you pictures or a youtube video link showing the restoration work done".
  4. I sent a Pioneer M-22 to Hamad to restore 4 1/2 weeks ago. I sent a couple of e-mails in the past week asking for an approximate time the amp might be finished. He hasn't responded, yesterday and again today I left phone messages, so far no response. From past experience is this typical behavior that Hamad won't respond to any e-mails or phone messages? I have conformation of delivery with signature so I know he received the amp. I'm starting to get nervous that I might not see my amp again. Thanks for any help.
