lol, i posted that thread, and you found it! the blue pcb I used almost has the same layout as KG's layout, only use different protection circuit. and my power supply is based on lm723/mc1723.

hoping that the pcb layout file can be released eventually or someone have extra board, so that i dont need to use perfborad to build one.

Chinese diyers use vintage caps because they can get them at a very low price. you can get used UCC 81d 8200uf as low as $1 each.
