  1. I guess I am in the wrong place. Funny, I thought it said Headcase.org--Gear--Headphones.I spent most of 2 days at Head-Fi.org but wasnt able to post for some reason. Tried a couple others and had same problem. This was the first forum I could actually post on( Headphone forum buy the way). You should feel sorry that I wasted my time. Seeee Ya Later!
  2. I wish to replace/upgrade my broken, 20yr old Sony MDR-V404 phones. I have always been impressed with their sound. They are the only ones I have used for 20 years. I bought a MDR-ZX-100 for time being and they not close no cigar to the old ones. I am not a professional. I use my phones for making cd'swith my laptop: music/movie/you-tube. I like all types of music ezcept for rap and "new" country. For the most part I like classic -rock/hard rock/heavy metal/blues I have seen the 7506 on sale for about the same as the V6. My price window would be $80-$100. The earpieces on the V404 basically sit on the ear, while the V6 and 7505 look like they go completely over,( cant think of exact terms), and I think they would probably be more comfortable since I wear glasses. They would block out outside noise better also. The V6/7506 have 40mm drivers vs 30mm for the V404 so that with the complete over-ear design seems like it would make for more/better bass. My basic question is: without being able to listen to them in preson, which of the two are going to satisy my ears better? From reading other forums and reviews I am leaning toward the V6, but I welcome all facts and opinions. ThankYou PS. New guy here, first post
