I did a funny test on the weekend with my new Carbon / SR-009 Setup and checked the audible frequencies with an online tone generator. I knew my upper hearing limit is 16 kHz but I was rather astonished to be able to hear even the 3 Hz signal. It's really a big surprise that I can still hear signals from 3 Hz to 16 kHz.

Since this ultra-powerful MSB electrostatic amp was already mentioned so shamelessly, did anybody listen to it yet?

I'm still new to the to the "moar power" tendency.. I predominantly suffer from the "moar quality" tendency. But I have to admit I didn't realize immediately that MSB had an electrostatic amp. I usually tried not to delve this deep into "unobtanium" class equipment. But I am failing in this lately Thanks for bringing me up to speed though!

Oh, you still have one? Secretly, I was rather hoping to join the STAX-Mafia by acquiring a much venerated non-STAX energizer.

Dear SR-009 connaisseurs, since I recently was able to hear both the SR-007 and the SR-009 on the SRM -T8000 I've felt a potent urge to obtain an SR-009 together with a proper energizer. It seems as there may not be an opportunity for me to hear the SR-009 with a BHSE or a KGSSHV Carbon between which I am hesitant to decide. Due, the cost of an SRM-T8000 here in Switzerland being almost the same as the BHSE and Spritzers comments on the former it was eliminated from my list. Still, I feel a bit lost coming to a decision. Therefore I would humbly seek advice from you.
