When I first got them at the office, I felt more or less the same way comparing them to my ES7s out of the iPhone. Once I got them home and plugged them into the Duet.. whoah.. Granted, I've never tried the 9s, but I suspect the 10s scale well with good sources and amplification. Now I can't stop listening to them and can't wait to hear them out of a good dedicated amp. Yeah, paired with a Pico, this might be the ultimate transportable office rig

Yeah I'm in the same position.. after hearing them out of the Duet and iPhone, I don't think there's a place in my stable for the E4c, ES7 and MS2i.. Thinking about getting an amp now.. recommendations? Solo SRG? Yammy?

The 10s have finally arrived!!! Sounds pretty good straight out of the iPhone, can't wait to plug it into the Duet when I get home

I dunno.. sometimes I find myself enjoying the ES7 out of my iPhone at the office more than the MS-2i out of the Duet at home.. doesn't bode well for it's future with the ESW10 on the way unless of course, better amping makes a HUGE difference with the Alessandro

I've heard about the Live deal but unfortunately it only applies in the US. Got mine for about $550 shipped. Still beats paying $600 at AC Re the cable - Yeah I was only considering the portable APS, ~5 ft of mini cable shouldn't be too bulky.

Yeah tell me about it.. ended up paying 120 AUD more than i would have if i had only pulled the trigger on Mon/Tues.. they were really selling them cheap (cheaper than pricejapan if you factor the fees)

The thing is, the ESW10s will be used mainly in a home and office setting and currently with my ES7s for office use, I'm finding the cable annoyingly short (not to mention it feels rather fragile). Think another ft of cable would be just right. Thanks for the heads up, I can't find the Duet cable anywhere on the BJC site though. Is it a custom job? Cheers.

Thanks and no worries, I come here to escape the bs at the 'Fi after all That's good to hear Btw I'm seriously considering re-cabling the ESW10s in the near future. Are the APS V3s a worthwhile upgrade from the current APS portable? Do you reckon re-cabling will seriously impact the collector's value (if any) of the ESW10s? Also on the lookout for a Duet cable, anyone tried the APS version? Not aware of any alternatives (unless n_maher is still making them) but $160 is kinda steep :/

just pulled the trigger on the ESW10JPN, hoping to replace my E4c, MS2i and ES7 with a single can noticed they're selling out fast everywhere (totally sold out at bluetin, missed a really sweet deal there argghh) and pricejapan just dropped the price a little today so i jumped on it has anyone tried it straight out of the Duet HP out? oh and hi btw, think this is my first post.. long time lurker here (and that other place)
