As above.
The 2 DACs I have already haa digital volume control which I believe are provided by the AKM/ESS chip.
Thanks

can someone please share the link to the schematics/documents? I think it's a good drive link but I cannot find this link. Thank you.

Thanks for the tip @Pars
I didn't know about that forum feature. -

Answers are in the thread, why not read everything first?
I am trying to avoid reading a novel if the answer can be easily/readily given

can someone please tell me the power requirements (transformer?) for a balanced version of this relay attenuator?
thanks

See Output section within the Electrical Characteristics in the OPA548 datasheet.
can you point out the specific/relevant section?
In Figure 13, it tells me the difference between Vsupply and Vout for a specific current output. And if wanting 2amps in Vout, the difference is only 3V. 24-16.4 is around 7volts. seems excessive considering I could've gotten better "efficiency" with a lesser Vsupply.
maybe it has something to do with the fact that the voltage coming out of the recitfiers is so high. 48VDC all the down to 16.4V is a lot of wasted energy that needs to be dissipated.

anybody has a spare PCB (enough for a balanced CFA3 and 1x GRLV)?
Thanks!

On the left side of cfa3productionss.pdf, there's a schematic on the top right with a 2n4391. But I cannot find it in the cfp3rssfixedss and cfp3rssfixedsssw.
Any ideas? Thanks

the latest gerber file seems to be goldenreferencelargecap.zip. but the AC input part seems to be very different from version 6.
seems the goldenreferencelargecap, AC input uses only 1 transformer secondary? Thanks

if going for the split board, what's the input section? I am looking at the shared folder but it's not so obvious which one to get. Thanks

(This is the gerber file I'm looking at => cfp3smt2splitamp - CADCAM.zip dated 2022-Feb-07 in the shared Drive folder)
- what's the minimum voltage I can use with the amp?- I've been back-reading and I've read mentions of an opamp but I cannot find it in the PCB.
- average power consumption? (or shouldn't even think about it considering it requires massive heatsink? 😁)
Thank you.
EDIT1: The file I mentioned above does NOT have the transistor portion like what I've seen in other DIY pics. What Gerber file should I be using?
EDIT2: What's the difference between cfa3production.pdf vs cfa3productionss.pdf

Prior I start desoldering any components from my other boards, I thought I'll ask if anyone might need two fully populated (except Opamps and JFETs) wider boards. Not trying to make any profit, will sell at BOM cost, DM me if interested.
what's the width of the PCB including the L-bracket? thanks!

for $30+K, I expect it to be using something more than an Alps blue pot.

Hi again, what's the use of U5 and U7? seems redundant with U2 and U3 already there. Thanks

Hi all,
- what is the latest non-SMD PCB Gerber file? I am looking at the google drive site and I cannot find "kgdynalobalssproduction".
- - Can someone suggest a case for the Kerry SMD version?
- what's the recommended copper thickness for the Kerry SMD version? I'm seeing the posts that suggest it should be a minimum of 2oz
Thanks in advance.
and now for something completely different part 3

can someone please share the latest versions for gerber file links for:
- suitable PSU
- headphone amp
- volume attenuator (remote no necessary)
I was looking at the shared folder and I'm getting confused with the amount of duplicate files available.
I would also appreciate it if you can share a BOM. Thank you.
