Micro Digital – Macro Sound at Atlanta A-VCOA meet

Featured Replies

Audio-Video Club of Atlanta (A-VCOA) at its Sunday, July 20, 2014 meeting will offer a dynamic demonstration of what can be achieved with Micro Digital gear supplying music sources to large scale home stereo equipment for a Macro Sound.

Source gear will include DAPS, Mobile Phones, IPods, tablets and PC and Apple laptops.  Amplification will include transportable DAC/AMPS and small personal portable DACS and AMPS.  A variety of advanced playback software will also be demonstrated in playback of HRA or High Resolution Audio of 24 Bit and 96 kHz and higher resolutions up to Direct Stream Digital or DSD.

Room sized stereo equipment will include pre-amplifiers and high output amplifiers driving room sized 3-way speakers.  In addition, we’ll be demonstrating powered desk top speakers that can produce a large room sound from low powered inputs using efficient and advanced drivers.

The presentation will begin at 2PM on Sunday at the Virtual Properties Realty office at 2750 Premiere Parkway, Suite 200, Duluth, GA  30097 across from the Wells Fargo Bank and beside the SunTrust Bank near the intersection of Sugarloaf Parkway and Meadow Church Road.

Head-Fiers, Head-Casers  and Audio Enthusiasts are invited and membership in A-VCOA is not required for guests to attend; though we hope you’ll like our enthusiasm and will choose to join.

Thanks for posting this.  Not sure if I'll be able to make it.  Will check with Brent on and report back.  Are headphones gears welcomed or will this be a just 2-channel speakers event?
