Guy should be here in 15 minutes to hook it up.  Not sure what it's gonna be but I'm psyched.  Supposedly the combine the quantum gateway with the ONT

Didn't combine the ONT and router.  It's still using the original setup.  The user interface has some cool features but the flow is a bit off.  My first gripe is I have to take 3 steps to get to a channel guide.  Of course I can just speak into the remote and it will find the channel ala fire TV.  The picture quality seems just as good as the Tivo but the image seems zoomed in for live TV.  On demand seems ok.

on another note, the installers were very interested in my workbench full of HC projects
