I've pretty much had enough of my PSC 1315 HP All-in-one printer. It's not a bad printer in itself, it's just a pain in the ass. Feeds papers wrong, ocassionally refuses to scan, ocassionally refuses to print, drains ink, simply refuses to cancel prints unless the drivers are reinstalled, check cartidge warnings, check paper warnings...it's just too much to handle.

So, in your opinion, who do you feel makes the better printers. Canon, Epson, Lexmark, Brother...? Before I've had Canon, and all I can remember is that Canon ink is cheap as hell.

HP has actually come back a li'l bit.

I like Canons and Epsons a lot as well. Honestly, I really don't think you can go wrong with any of these leading brands. You should set your budget, look for the features and performance you want, read a bunch of reviews, and then go down to the store and run 'em through their paces. Cheap ink helps.

I like HP and Epson for general all around printing, but if you print a lot of photos I'd probably go with Canon. Avoid lexmark at all costs it's utter junk.

Oh well, in the end I did get a Canon (model MP460). Didn't go with Epson because of the prices of their ink. Wasn't really interested with Lexmark, since, that's like buying a Coby printer.
