Me and a couple of friends spent today attempting to record some trip-hop. It didn't really end up sounding anything like trip-hop, and we're probably going to rerecord most of the parts because they're a little sloppy, but I think it actually turned out pretty well. I'm curious as to what you guys think.

So I hear: a guitarist, a drummer, and...how many of you were there? The drums, in particular, sound well-recorded.

Sounds almost acid jazz -- have you heard...argh, I forget their name...I'll come back when I remember. I think they did an album called "The Real Thing"...they had kind of a technoy sound, but they used a live drummer.

Thanks! There's drums, piano, guitar, and bass. We also tried adding some djembe, but we couldn't quite get it right so we'll try again later.

As for the drums, my friend just got his new drum mics, which sound great.
