I want to get one so I can use my Big Joe for my floorstanding speakers and K1000. Do they degrade the sound quality? Is there any ones (Hopefully under $50) that you guys would recommend?

I've used an Adcom switcher in the past and experienced no degradation. They go on eBay fairly cheap in both a 3-speaker and 6-speaker models.

As a side note, I have also used a DBX program route selector with no sonic changes. Now I use a manual switch .. I get up and input or output the headphones.

sorry to bump old thread but didn't want to start new one on same simple topic. Want to switch back and forth from K1000 and speakers from amp. Besides Adcom mentioned above, any other quality speaker switchers that you may be aware of?

nice...it's a Bryston. even has a headphone jack (not that I need that function). will check with local Bryston dealer, or see if AA ships overseas.
