Knuckledragger
I have an AGP (yes, it's old) video card with dual DVI outputs. Currently, I only have one working monitor. Are the the outputs on AGP and PCI video card standardized with regard to the location of monitor one and two in Windoes? i.e. is the left DVI out (when looking at the back of the card) always monitor one? Unfortunately, I am not in a position to test this myself. I need the one working monitor I have to be monitor one on the first boot in this instance. Knuckledragger
It was not the phyiscal or virtual location of the monitor that was the issue, but rather which monitor windows identifies at "1" or "2." This appears to be tied to the DVI outs, and isn't switchable. That said, I was able to solve the issue with trial an error. Windows does like to muck up the screen resolution. 0_o Owning a Mac laptop for a month now has not fostered any warm feelings toward my PC.
