I'm not much of a photographer, but the cameras in this article in the NY Times that can shoot 30-60 frames per second seem interesting. Definitely could be useful for kids/sports/nature stuff.

David Pogue is a crack smoker, he's obviously spent to much time with apple gear.

The camera is cool though.
