Omega II setup vs. Balanced HD650 setup?

Featured Replies

Base balanced Supra is $2995 with the base high voltage model starting at $3500. Then there are the goodies/extras that one simply can't resist. Before you know it, you're at $5k wondering what the hell happened?!

This thread no longer applies to me lol.

The Omega IIs don't fit on my head no matter how hard I try, and after listening to a HD650s running balanced at a recent meet, I realized that they don't really complement my existing setup. I'm probably off the wagon for the present.

Ehh, I told you this on AIM, but I thought I might repeat it here for other people who might have fit issues:

You can bend the shit out of the OII's headband for a perfect fit. I bent mine out the other day, and it fits my head perfectly now (when it's on the banana rack, the two earpads don't touch each other anymore!). Perhaps the owner of the OIIs you tried had a big head, :P

A balanced Supra/preamp is soooo tempting.
