Pretty much all evidence is anecdotal when it comes to headphones. I don't know how many times a 300 page thread has come down to "well if you like it, then do that". No reason to be so uptight. I was just trying to be somewhat balanced in response to the guy. But thanks I've read it.

I know quite a few people at work that are perfectly happy with the 201's bannedfromheadfi. That's about the best recommendation I could give of them. I haven't heard them myself.

I'm by no means an expert Solude but what about a low impedance design from say Mapletree? The super II can output 500mW into 32ohm and has an output impedance of 1.3

I would second mpd with a front-end, There a gui versions with fairly little dependency requirements. Thought Amarok is probably my favorite linux player. If your using Arch you could use kdemod to get that. That can get you Amarok with minimal bloat. Being that your an arch user, i'm assuming your familiar with it.

@moonshine, i would highly doubt it. It's not windows mobile or anything. you can just change themes. Could be wrong though.
How reliable are hard drives in portables these days? I've always gone with flash as I abuse my portable pretty badly

Der, I guess your right. I assumed the models listed at the top were just old ones and it's old order form. This looks to be for their aviation equipment. "boom" makes much more sense now lol. They have another I would imagine then for the jh13. Hrm, I said I was looking to buy a jh13 pro. They must be busy

If I were rating this thread it would more along the lines of 5 stars.
Is it just me or are they usually this slow in responding to emails? 2 emails 4 days no response. :\ I guess it's just a really small operation. Not everyone lives on their computer like me I guess. Curious about the order form. What somethings mean and the turn around time most importantly

Hah, was going for Damn,. Just sold my hf2, amp and dac all for it. Just wasn't too geeked with the hf2. The only thing that bums me out atm is the thought of waiting a month

What do you all use to drive these things? I'm going to be using my sansa and pc initially until I can decide if I want or what amp/dac to buy for it.

Trusting people I know in real life and have had first hand experience with them is not illogical at all Aura.
