    I assume the pins come out from the plastic to enable soldering. How do you remove them, push them out or pull them out? Thanks.

    OK, time for what must be a dumb question. I want to make a Stax cable using my 950 extension cable. I've received the 86-71-6S plug from Allied. What else is needed to enable me to solder to this plug?
