  1. I haven't updated this in a while since school started and I've been busy as all hell. The stands are well on their way but haven't gone through the first firing yet. I'm waiting until I have a full kiln load and will fire them all together. They're coming along nicely, I spent the last part of winter break study faces and they're coming out a little more resolved. I can't say when they'll be finished and ready to ship but probably in a month or two.

If anybody decides to back out, I won't be offended. I would have made something anyway and these projects to me are just to improve my skills.

  2. I just put " - " in front of my serial. Mine were made over over 13.7 billion years ago. The voice coils were forged by elves inside of the great singularity. The diaphragm is made from the foreskin of Chaos, the oldest and fiercest of gods that existed before there was anything. I'm selling them for 200 shipped OBO.

  3. How about trying your hand at grilling inside the house? It'll be fun trying to not have the smoke detector constantly go off, your house burn down, everything get covered in soot/grease, death caused by oxygen deprivation, etc etc.

I guess waiting would be a better idea for us both. I've got a stockpile of "beef" patties that was supposed to be for my birthday 1.5 years ago that I have yet to use.

When I lived in Illinois there were reports every winter of families dieing from asphyxiation trying to heat their house with a grill.

And beefy, we're coming from you.

  4. i've typically pulled down on my ear lobes after inserting IEMs to equalize air pressure.

Good idea, I just changed the type of tips I'm using to comply's and I no longer have that problem. They slide in fine with out pushiing a bunch of air in and they're much comfier. Hopefully they won't work their way out of my ears like the silicone tips do.

  5. that's good to know, I wonder if it's because the UEs have such large fronts, I have to really mash them in my ears which probably pushes a lot of air in, while the shures have small front and slide in my ears easily, not pushing much air in.

  6. For those that own the TFpro10's, these are the first UE IEMs that I've owned but I've owned quite a few shure's. When I insert the TFs and have a good seal, the volume is really low and muffled until the pressure equalizes and they sound "normal" but I don't know what normal should sound like with these phones. None of the shure IEMs do this. Is it normal?

  7. Chekhonte, I'm confused. From two pages back it didn't seem like you ordered the VIs (or knew the model existed). Not sure anyone ordered a $99 VI pair from the Logitech site (just early Amazon orders), but before Logitech looks bad for not supply what was ordered, could you clear this up?

Well it looks like I'm living up to my sig. I thought the ones bought from logitech are the version VIs. Woops! This is why I stick to the slow forum topic. It's much more suited for my level of intellect.

  8. I got my UETFpro's from logitech today and they aren't version vi's. So in other words anybody that was expecting to have a built in mic will be out of luck most likely. I assume that they could only restock the normal version. I don't care at all since 99bucks in a steal sans mic or not.
