Yep, sure.
But maybe somebody has an unused set or some spares I can make disappear.

Can anybody help me source KG's original T2 transistor ?
I don't want to fall into the fake drama.
-
If it's about 100$, I'm firmly replying for one set.
Thanks for the offer !

I have powered up the amp.
Bias was very easy to set, but I don't experience the decribed negative tempco : my bias stays quite the same after warming up.
Offset is around 40 on one side, and 80 mV in the other, without the OP27 of course.
Everything looks quite stable, and the temperature is lower than what I expected.
Don't know if I'll wait for a scope before first listening with el cheapo cans...

Still waiting for the first listening of mine
What's the project we can peek at the lower left corner of your picture ?
-
Definitely interested in reading your honest and sometimes rough opinions upon this suspect.

New PSU is running.
By the way, which headphone is the best pairing with this amp ?
-
OK, I guess it will be fine.
I was hoping there was a schematic like the first rev http://gilmore.chem.northwestern.edu/dynahiver2a.pdf
Thank you.

Can anybody give me the SuSy Dynahi silkscreen ?

I went very nuts with the power transformer.
I've just paid for a 50VA "custom order" by Canterbury Windings, with electrostatic shield and a goss band.
Planning to put the Klone in a single chassis, I'll see how clean it can be.
-
OK, so 10k.
Thanks for the tip !
-
Gents, I'm tailoring the last mouser order for my Klone.
Which pot do you recommand ? Especially what value ?
Thanks and merry Xmas

Sounds good Birgir.
As long as they use actual sand...
-
I'd be in for Joamat's T2 if there is a run.
-
Looks like a very nice way to use some 6SN7 !
-
Thanks !

Nice work Muskyhuntr !
Do you guys have an advice for 2N5564 testing ?
I have scored a pair at a very low price from a regional seller, I was told they are genuine (and they were the last two in stock).
How to verify that ?
-
Gentlemen, I've just read the first 70 pages of this thread.
Beside the reading pleasure (yeah, I'm getting as crazy as you all, finding that reading technical things is enjoyable), I saw something extremely special...
This project is something I haven't seen before, and my English is too short to put proper words on it.
Dr Gilmore, you have been quite busy doing this between bottle washing.
Congrats to everyone that finished their T2.
-
Thanks^^

Biggest problem is shipping fees.
The BOM points Trendsetter, but they are charging 4 times the parts price for shipping...
Everything works like that from here. Guess I'm not in the good person's little papers !
Nevermind.

So LSK389A (hard to source in old Europe !).
-
Will a pair of LSK489 fit in place of LSK389, and will there be an improvement ?
-
Are the plastic washers necessary for the MJEs ?
I'm sure not using them I made a mistake that can explain my problems... why not a short with a heatsink !?
At least I have aavid's thermal pads, but damn, I'm dumb
