  1. Great adventure! I wish I had the time, skills, parts... well, the whole thing 😅
  2. Made the same mistake long ago, in this precise place. I had to add a small toroid because I ordered the wrong secondaries in my custom toroid. It's 30 VCT,or 2*15 V Just replace those 2 caps along with the V regs, and you're back on track
  3. Thanks for maintaining the house afloat!
  4. Great job. Looking forward to the other mods!
  5. Beautiful! Listen to it, and post some more pics
  6. This one might give you guys a good laugh. I don't own a heat gun, so poor man's way... That being said, it gives a warm and smokey sound
  7. It's just insane to see how many iterations of alternative batteries you and Kerry produced!
  8. I would like to revise my position as follows : 2 main boards 2 LV78 and 2 LV79 2 HV partially asembled 2 bare HV Thanks!

Pretty damn right. And listen to Philippe Dufour's opinion on how dull and disconnected to the legacy are the actual manufacturers.
  10. Olafur is very good indeed. If you don't know, you can try his German friend, Nils Frahm (for example album Felt). To be listened to relatively loud.
  11. Its force is its footprint with Kerry's mini power supplies. For sure no way to shrink the transformers, but still. Will definitely build one one day.
  12. Briliant! Damn excited by the perspective of those miniature HV supplies. You are never short of wonders Kerry, are you? One day I'll have to study those relay attenuators. The coding (which you provided) and Arduino thing have always seemed too complicated for me ?
  13. As I don't have any running project, It is a 2$ basket with 25$ for fedex, that's why I ask here in the first place.
  14. Gentlemen, Is there anybody here with some Xicon surplus? I'm finally having my batteries reworked, and I'd like 24*820k + 8*390k + 4*62k. Thanks

Quite little for my taste... Did you use a magnifying glass? Glad it went alright.
