One of my friend said : 6s4a is similar to 12au7 so it is unnecessary to use 6s4a. Does anyone have any idea?

NOS tubes like Mullard is hard to find especially we need eight of them. Psvane is more easy to find but sometime quality is not well: missing the bar.

for anyone who has problems to select tube: DO NOT USE RUBBISH TUBE.... 1.Nameless China made el34 and 12axu7 2.Russia EH EL34 Mullard and JJ 12axu7(ECC8XX) 3.Psvane EL34PH and 12axu7 comparing three different el34/6ca7 and 12ax(u)7 sound is big difference with different tubes. Psvane is so awesome,i love it !

as you said set balance and offset need long time especially they need time to be stable.it must be a long-time project. Actually,i have compared RCA and SYLVANIA. the same reuslt like yours : RCA seems like better.

Maybe i should not interrupt.......... collecting different 6s4a and waiting to do AB test...... if somesone is intersting about the result, i will do a summary...

normal sink is enough, about 40-50℃

losts of 6s4a (NOS) in here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221716637541 but Unfortunately, they has been sold yesterday....... $52 for about 35......

Even with the max volume,imbalance still happen. About the tube, i try my best to swap them,i don`t think they are bad. Based on what you say,measure will be done tomorrow(maybe). Anyway,thanks RiStaR.
