  1. Oh what a great sense of humour you have. Thank you so much for all your posts, really intelligent, thanks again.
  2. No don't listen to him, a Spritzer Carbon with the 009s is where it's at.
  3. So just an update re. my 009 problems. Sent back to Stax, huge respect to them for the turn around time. Received back today as new, working perfectly with my superb Mjolnir KGSShv Carbon. I'm back to where I want to be.
  4. Thanks, they are under warranty so back to Stax they go.
  5. Is there a way for me to clear dust if that's the case or should they go back to Stax in your opinion?
  6. Thanks for the response, unfortunately I don't have any other phones to check that. I kind of discounted the amp, as the problem continues when the amp is switched off for a short while
  7. I'm a Stax newbie. Actually my first Stax purchase was in 1969! I'm also insane I think. So in the last few weeks, 009, Stax amp, (big mistake didn't know about this amazing DIY community) now Birgir Carbon superb!! But I'm going to pull the trigger on this one, how could you not??
  8. OK, serious apologies if this is a repeat. My Birgir Carbon is superb. Who can build me a T2? I've really gone down the rabbit hole without any diy skills.
  9. Frankly I don't care I love my Birgir Carbon, been using it for the last 6 hours solid, time for bed in Tokyo.
  10. But Stax design and build the the best Ear Speakers we are all using so why can't they build a kick ass amp?
  11. Why bother to reply to anything astrostar59 posts?
