This arrived today. IMG_59441.jpg?t=1170099534.

It is playing. It works. I will comment in a couple of weeks.

I saw this pic and I thought this could be something new and interesting to try out. 8)

But then I saw these posts from the Tube Asylums and this unit sounds like a build quality/ customer service nightmare! :o

I know Phil sent his McAlister amp back for some changes. I hope he is having better luck than Frihed89.

GULP!! I really feel for the guy. Sounds like a nightmare.

I'm not surprised.

I agree with that guy completely. Peter knows his circuits, his amps are insanely cheap, and they sound lovely... BUT... he does tend to 'cut corners' [mostly because he is in a rush, I think], and have low build quality.

If you want to put up with the hassle of him getting it right and are on a budget, I say go for it. If you are well off and want a nice and simple process, look elsewhere. ;)

My EA-6 is still MIA, but I don't really care, since the build quality is, uh, well, underwhelming, even for the insanely cheap price. I would post pics, but that would impede my ability to sell it.
