does anyone here has any experience with the "other" lite audio dacs (by that I mean other than the well known around here DA-AH). Man there are quite a few of them.

There is quite a bit of into on the DAC-60 at audiocircles. Then there is the DAC-68, 38, 39.

So offer balanced outs while others only single ended.

Anyone heard any of the ones listed??

The DAC-60 has interested me for awhile, maybe one of these days I'll check it out.

yep, with all the mods that are available on the "internets" sounds like something to try out, heh...

I wonder if the same mods can be applied at the other ones, they look really interesting too.. I bet most of the mods can be applied as well.

I am curious about the DAC-68, which is based on the 60, but has the balanced outs and goes to 192khz, among a few other changes I think...
