Is it possible to suppress post count but leave join date on an individual User basis? In other words, if I wanted my join date to appear, but no post count, could that be set for me only?

It can be done so that everyone has the option of setting it, by the admin creating a user option and then adding an <if></if> around the postcount in the postbit template that checks that option.

Yes, that's what i mean. They don't have the option now, but the admin could easily create it so they did, or so they could switch anything else viewable on or off in their user profile.
