2011 Telluride Bluegrass Festival

Wow looks like a cool line-up this year: http://www.bluegrass.com/telluride/lineup.html

I'm probably not going unless Alison Krauss & Union Station show up again, but since they have a new album coming out in April, my guess is that they might be there.

Anyone think they might travel out for this?

Something I'd love to attend. Since I'm trying to save money and vacation days for my big trip, it's unlikely this year, but I'm going to keep it in the back of my mind. You never know. I could win the lotto.

That is a pretty good lineup. I would love to go. The only problem is that we are going on vacation sometime in June. Hopefully, we will have those dates set soon. I will be following the thread.

I've been a few times, and it is not to be missed, especially if you can snag a Town Park camping pass. The Telluride House Band are out of this world, and those guys don't all play together anywhere else (well, maybe Merlefest too, I dunno). Can't make it this year due to little kids and a looooong drive, but I'm hoping to attend the 40th in 2013.

2012 update.

Anyone thinking about going this year? The lineup, as usual, looks pretty stellar. http://www.bluegrass...ide/lineup.html

Asr, I notice that Alison Krauss & Union Station are playing.

I bought tickets on the off-chance that I can make the logistics work, but it's a long drive from Manitoba.
