Wow, if you're going to copy and past your post from head-fi, at least have the decency to paste it properly without the head-fi formatting.

I'm interested in the ride, which distance were you going for? Mind you I won't be doing it at a particularly fast pace
Race pace sent out an email about a meet and greet/charity auction/autograph session with Jens and Ben King on Fridayedit: That cross bike sounds like a tempting offer! I say go for it

The carrier in the rock n roll should wash it away anyhow so....
What's up with what looks like pealing on your rear wheel?
Just the picture or?
You looking at that spot next to the logo? I wonder if it's just light reflecting oddly off the wheel, since it's on the brake track and would definitely be felt if it's something more.

I'm up for it, but the 2,400 ft of total climbing on the 30mi course might be a bit much for me

Registered for Sebring and flight booked.

My concern would be not being able to move the saddle forward enough with an offset post........
Yeah, that'd be my concern as well.
-
Drat, mine are 27.2.
You can find oem brand seatposts for cheap on ebay, as sellers dump take-offs or people upgrade their stock seatposts.
Here's a 31.6mm x 325mm cannondale alloy seatpost for $16.25 + ~$9 shipping
I think you should aim to get a road bike for the trainer though, you don't have to pay all that much if you look around. Especially so if you get used.

I was just going from her post, dunno if that's what she actually needs or what not.

Not a setback seatpost...http://houston.craigslist.org/bik/4062686503.html
Depends on post diameter tho
Distance to the pedals is too short. Right now, I'm not even holding onto the handlebars much because of my shoulder. Also I have long legs and a short torso for my height.
Measure the diameter of your current seatpost and let me know, I might have an alloy cannondale seatpost for you...

Yeah, I'll aim to get there by 8:30. Should give enough time to get ready and go.

I'm up for a ride tomorrow, when should I show up?

Looks like there is a 2014 Pinarrello bike demo at my shop this weekend tied to a 1.5 hour ride.
That sounds fun...

Nice bike! Enjoy!
Thanks! Coming from the 105's the DA9000's were really quite amazing on the first short test ride. Looking forward to the weekend to really give it a try.

Looking good. Will it help you ride up a hill at speed?
Is your Cannondale blue instead of gold like Justins?
Hell no it's not going to help my slow ass, only I can help myself At least it'll look really nice when everyone passes me
Yeah, the evo is blue instead of the caad10's gold. they switched the evo to gold and the caad10 to green in the 2014 model.

Nope no bikes. Hopefully it is just a new Kuat and no frame damage. The Kuat is amazing strong as it is still perfect after a 15-20MPH impact. Unfortunately I have no way to transport the bike to a ride this weekend at this point nor to the fittings for both bikes that I have scheduled for tomorrow.
I can bring my saris rack for the saturday ride. It'll hold up to three bikes, but won't really help for your fittings though.
Picked up my bike from the lbs today:
-
I don't think so, the bolt wouldn't have been the first thing hit if he had his bikes on the rack.
-
Ben you can borrow my bike bag and ship it FedEx too.
Thanks for the offer, I'll probably take you up on the bag if I go. What airline do you use that's bike friendly? It looks like Southwest charges $75 each way.
Vicki, JP and Raffy will probably do something like 2.5k miles over the course of the weekend. I think Mike, Justin and I will do normal rides, 40-60 miles.
We are having a training ride this weekend, Saturday probably.
Lemme know when and where and I'll come along for the ride.
http://www.kenlodge.com/hotel/ is the hotel? Online booking says they have no availability.

I am starting the prep process for the Sebring HC Cycling Team event. Set up a 3D fit for the Calfee for Wednesday and started researching Sebring shops to set up an appointment for someone to put my bike back together when I get it down there, in case I decide I can't get it back together myself.
Probably going to switch the Calfee to the Mad Fibers for the trip so I am hoping this all fits in the case.
I'm tempted to go but I'm a bit wary of bringing my bike in checked baggage. It looks like there's a variety of distances to ride at the Sebring event, what's the plan in terms of distance?

I think it's pretty clear Cavalli is content letting his forum admin and his shill army handle things for him.
I'm still amazed that someone just claimed that the only thing wrong with Mikhail's builds were under-specced transformers.

You are right in that, they do what they want without explanation. I only refered to what I observed in the HF thread. Unsubstantiated information was deleted. A person who notice that could very well interpret it as support for moderators' view that there are persons who only want to discredit the vendor. If substantiated information is deleted it will decredit HF. For those who follow a thread I think that such things will cast some doubt over the credibility of HF.
If you really want to spread the information on HF, it would be possible to put it on another site than Head Case and link it. Also that could disappear but there are people who see it.
I think there is some automatic warning system for Head Case. I mentioned the site once on HF by name and after only 15 minutes I got a mail from Jude that it was deleted and warned not to mention that site any more. Everyting else was ok he told.
Unsubstantiated information will be deleted. Substantiated information will be deleted. Posting the information on another site then linking it will result in it being deleted. Additionally, doing anything more that just hinting at the info posted here (or on another site..as you suggest) can easily result in a ban. There won't be an instant uprising over there over a single deleted post or a banned user. It just doesn't happen.

Heh, now that would be interesting (for all of three uncensored seconds).
That's exactly it....
They don't need to explain it away. The mods over there have and will continue to delete evidence of the sort posted here without reservations. They don't need to explain anything if it's deleted fast enough

Hmm, I'm running mid-compact so that might make the difference. I'm going to run compact + 11-28 on the new bike, but hopefully the 11-speed will help.

Are you going? I'm going to go, just waffling between the 30mi and the 15mi group, mostly because 2,400ft of climbing might be a bit much for me to dive right into.
