  1. Happy Anniversary my friend. Sounds like you and Anne will be having an excellent time. Enjoy!
  2. Happy Birthday Jim!!! I need to get you up here for some beer in the near future!
  3. Robert the Bruce.
  4. We're actually going to see her in Chicago tonight.
  5. Manhattan. Cheers Paris Claire, and I will go up and hug my Dual before bed since it has heard of the damage to its brother and I want to comfort it.
  6. Good karma helped Paris Claire and helped levitate the falling rack. I will drink to both.
  7. Marc, I'd be looking at arriving sometime Thursday with a departure of the Monday after the race, possibly Sunday night if need be. And because it is your generous offer making this possible, adjustments could be made in our schedule to make life easy for you. And I'll be happy to help financially or in any other way possible to make things cool for your family regarding this get-together. Just let me know how I can help. Mike
  8. Attended Schlafly's Hop in the City in St. Louis. 40 Schlafly beers available, I got through a few of them, their barley wine, Indian brown ale and raspberry coffee stout being my favorites.
  9. At Schlafly Hop in the City. 40 beers to taste.
  10. Have a Happy Birthday!!!
  11. Happy Birthday!!!
  12. Maybe by G+, but not in the flesh this time. Have a good time kids!

  14. And don't forget Upland Brewing. They turn out some pretty good beverages.
  15. Sitting at SPACE in Evanston waiting to see Richard Thompson. We are stoked.
  16. In the low 70's here. Initially quite damp and foggy. Sorry Shelly, I'm honestly trying to herd some of this cool air and moisture down to you.
  17. A small dram of Rittenhouse 25 to toast the birthday of the best man at my first wedding. That was about 3000 years ago...
  18. Looks excellent Jeff.
  19. We had a hankering for soup tonight, so we winged it with what we had in the house. Made a chicken-chorizo-cabbage soup that turned out very flipping good. Very hearty with small shell pasta and lots of onion, celery and carrot. Good flavor from the chorizo but not really spicy. Just damned good.
  20. Bulleit Rye Old Fashioned. Yum!
  21. Yay! Al got home to his Rittenhouse!
  22. One last dram of Rittenhouse 25, with positive thoughts for Al's friend. Best wishes for a smooth recovery.
  23. Seconded. HC Cask FTW.
  24. Two Brothers Domaine DuPage.
  25. An OXO double jigger and 4 regular sized martini glasses, as I only had the big-ass ones. Probably explains why I get hammered so quickly.
