Good news Vicki. I'm familiar with your situation as Mom had her second knee done at 89, I believe. She just turned 92 last weekend and the knees are holding up well.
A big thanks to Jim for the idea of peppercorn infused vodka. I had some neat when we got home from work, and followed that with Bloody Mary's for Debbie, a friend and I. Excellent stuff.
Moved to a Manhattan after dinner of grilled pork loin and corn on the cob.
You know what Al? I like what the cherry and about a half teaspoon of the juice do for the Manhattan, but I don't like the taste of the cherries themselves. But I didn't buy them to eat cherries.
