I've been putting off getting another 2x2 and 2x4 of these. (Lazy) I'm calling to see if they any left asap and going to get them today if they do. On the good news front...got the new benz LPS on yesterday afternoon. 4am and still going, powered by Hop Stoopid ale and Ella reissues

HRT Music Streamer HD, Full Sized XLR, 24bit 192 khz and it supports USB 1.0 and 2.0,
Had one of these (it died) but now not sure if it was it or laptop. Liked the sound a lot. Will most likely get another one. When I sent it back I had a case of 45rpm reissue flu and had MD send me a bunch of records instead of another unit.

To clarify, although not bookshelf. Go hear these. I've had many bookshelf speakers and have always found them lacking. These take up equal or less space than monitors with stands.

Emmylou Harris "Luxury Liner" WB pressing. Man they (WB) had it going on! Great record, great sonics.

PSB Imagine T2. Get to hear them quite a bit at local shop with everything from entry level NAD to top Ayre and ARC, really nice speakers. I've heard nothing I think are better any where near there $$$.

Hawks lost there legs midway through game two and still havent found them. If Briuns keep the ice soft, and Hossa doesnt return, game four will be Bruins for the taking.

Coming from the HC auditory "proletariat", the SR 009, Blue Hawaii, merge, produced the most accurate repro of sound ive heard. But to this day the R 10 are the only hp that (subj) seemed to "vanish' leaving me with only "music'. I was devoid of a tangible device...only music traveling through my frontal lobe..

Found it. Yep, I didn't pick up the charger but will do so this week. Thanks again Tom for putting up with my rig and things on the table for two straight days. I was managed to unpack everything last night and set it backup again. Wish I have more listening hours these days.

Purk got everything out of here around 11:30. Table just doesnt look the same without those two rigs on it. To me, the 009/BH is about as close to perfect as a headphone system can sound. Its combination of resolution, speed, and keeping things smooth and relaxed was best i have heard. Biggest suprise to me was the little Stax system Brent had for $650.00 its a no brainer. getting one for my wife.
Jacob, the quiet vinyl is alot from the BAT gear, running 56 tubes with 72db of gain at the phono is good design. That said, its mainly because of the Audio desk Systeme cleaner. Its my favorite peice of audio gear i have ever owned. It has changed listening to records in a positive way on every record more than anything i have bought before it.
Doing final speaker setup, measuring room, moving any room treatment that needs it a week from weds. Your all invited back to see if the changes did any good. really enjoyed having every one over.

You must be a saint for putting up with Brent for so long, let alone the rest of the crew. You might want to wish Purk an early happy birthday -- his is tomorrow where the weekend birthday biscuit boy's big day isn't until the 23rd!
One of the advantages of being an accomplished asshole (that would be me) is I'm the one people have to put up with.
I would never forget my No.1 sons Birthday! My wife reminds me.

Great meeting everybody, and thanks to all who set the meet up! When round two at my house happens we WILL have the Spectron amp set up so we dont have to sweat when listening to music.
Brent just rolled out, Purk is coming back after work for a little more listening before he packs it all up for home.

I've also been hunting for a nice cool running SS amp for this summer to complete this system. So far the new Mcintosh MC452 and Classe CA2300 are at the top of the list. Both sound better than any older offerings i have heard from there companie , have lots of power, and run cool.

It looks awesome, Tom. Those speakers have been catching my attention for years, but I'm afraid I won't be able to ever listen a pair. Are you liking them?
I've been lucky enough to hear them alot with several different kinds of gear. Also lucky to have owned the YG Carmels for over two years before getting these. I like them quite a bit!!

Same Arm (sme v) but not sure if I had the Michell or the Avid? I have an Avid Sequel table. Same BAT gear everywhere.
